GOP Representative Kat Cammack tweeted Thursday two images, one showing full shelves of baby formula and food from a processing center at the southern border and another showing empty shelves where baby formula was supposed to be at an American grocery store. 'The first photo is from this morning at the Ursula Processing Center at the U.S. border. Shelves and pallets packed with baby formula,' Cammack wrote. 'The second is from a shelf right here at home. Formula is scarce.' 'This is what America last looks like,' she added. This comes as President Joe Biden prepares to sit down with manufacturers and retailers to address the baby formula shortage as mothers and fathers scramble to find food for their infants. The White House released a statement Thursday afternoon detailing the president has directed his administration to ensure that infant formula is 'safe and available for families across the country'. 'Today, President Biden spoke with retailers and manufacturers, including Wal-Mart, Target, Reckitt, and Gerber, to discuss ways we can all work together to do more to help families access infant formula,' the statement details.

Zac Kriegman (left), a former director of data science at Thomson Reuters, claimed he was wrongfully fired from his job after sharing his research on race and police killings with colleagues. In the post he shared on the company's internal social media platform (top right) outlined his research that showed showed unarmed white people were more likely to be killed by cops than black people and that the Black Lives Matter movement allegedly caused the deaths of thousands. The Washington Post, which has led the effort to document fatal police shootings, found that since 2015, 3,024 white people have been killed by police and 1,596 black people have been killed (bottom-right). The findings highlight that black people were disproportionally affected by the shootings as they make up only 13 percent of the U.S. population, but Kriegman said the rhetoric was incomplete and when he tried proving it, he said he received backlash from fellow white co-workers.

A video also emerged Thursday that showed one of the assailants (inset bottom) leaving the jet ski rental shop where they got the watercraft that was used to carry out the assassination. Colombian authorities have offered a reward (inset top) of 2 billion pesos, approximately $488,000, for information leading to the capture of the suspect, who was wearing a fedora. Top Gun's victory roll as Tom Cruise roars back at 1,189mph... and he hasn't changed a bit: PETER HOSKIN reviews famed movie pilot's return in Top Gun: Maverick

PETER HOSKIN: Tom Cruise does his own stunts, but this is something else in Maverick, top gun sequel. There he is in an F-18 fighter jet, his billion-dollar face contorted by G-forces, as the whole thing roars off an aircraft carrier in the middle of the ocean. The only small nod to sanity is that Cruise isn't flying the jet himself: The US Navy wouldn't let him. Otherwise, everything else is real: The plane, the warship, the stomach-turning gravitational pulls. He's actually up there in the sky going at 1,189mph as the camera rolls. In Top Gun: Maverick, the new sequel to the 1986 original, this kind of macho film-making isn't just showing off. It's the point.

Three white Louisiana State Troopers are charged with beating black motorist, hoisting him by his braids and bragging their 'whoopin' would give him 'nightmares for a long time'

Troopers Jacob Brown, Dakota DeMoss and George 'Kam' Harper, who are all white, have been charged with battery after allegedly beating a black motorist. They allegedly pulled Antonio Harris off the ground by his braids and slapped, punched, and kneed him while he was face down on the ground. Harris was attacked after leading troopers on a high-speed chase that ended in a cornfield near Franklin Parish, Louisiana. Harris reported led authorities on a 29-mile chase that reached speeds up to 150mph. An internal investigation found the troopers filed 'wholly untrue' reports claiming the man kept trying to flee before they began to pummel him. 'They kept saying: "Stop resisting," but I was never resisting,' Harris told investigators. The troopers also later exchanged 14 text messages peppered with 'lol' and 'haha' responses in which they boasted about the beating. They also allegedly bragged about how the 'whoopin' would leave the Harris with 'nightmares for a long time.' Officer Harper reportedly turned off his bodycam during the beating and Brown allegedly never informed state prosecutors his existed. They will not face federal charges after prosecutors dropped the malfeasance in office charge.

Nicole Norris, 30, testified in Monroe County, Pennsylvania court on Wednesday that one of her bridesmaids was 'conscious and aware' of what she was doing with her then-fiancée Daniel Carney, 30, when she caught the two of them in the shower on August 30, 2019. The prosecutors, though, say Norris was not there the entire time the two of them were in the shower of the men's locker room at the Shawnee Inn in Smithfield Township, so she could not have fully known what had happened. The bridesmaid, an unnamed then-29-year-old woman from Oregon , claimed in the aftermath that, although she did not remember exactly what had happened, she had 'woken up' twice during the encounter. They had spent the days before the wedding drinking and rafting on the Delaware River in the Pocono Mountains, where the Maid of Honor claimed Carney and his friends had asked the unnamed bridesmaid to flash other boaters for free beer.

Fury as Colorado teacher invites schoolgirl, 12, to after-school arts club that was actually a meeting about trans and queer identity: Kids were asked who they were sexually attracted to and told that it's ok to LIE to your parents

Erin Lee (bottom) right), whose daughter attended Wellington Middle School up until last week, says her daughter was told by guest speaker Kimberly Chambers (top right) that she may be transgender and that her family was not safe. Lee, whose daughter attended Wellington Middle School up until last week, says her daughter sent her a text message last Wednesday asking to go to an after-school art club, saying her art teacher, Jenna Riep (not pictured), had invited her. 'It wasn't art club, it was GSA, or Gender and Sexuality [Alliance] is what they're calling it now,' the irate mother explained. 'They told the kids that if they're not fully comfortable in their body, then they are transgender. So essentially told my daughter if she's not 100 percent comfortable in her body, that she is transgender.' The group also saw her daughter participate in a 'Genderbread person activity,' Lee said - a lesson in which organizers explicitly asked her daughter and other students in the room about their sexual identity, using a kid-friendly diagram of a gingerbread man (pictured at left). The lesson was led LGBTQ activist Chambers, emails obtained by the Parents Defending Education advocacy group show. Chambers - the head of LGBTQ advocacy group SPLASH Youth of Northern Colorado - spoke as a school board-approved guest.
